**Day 87**

We're enjoying our trip in St. Louis - we made a visit to the Arch today, and to the City Museum.  The City Museum is AWESOME, so if you get a chance to take your kids it!!!

Anyway, we got quite a bit of exercising walking around today, but I did go to the hotel gym to work out, too.  I started out on the elliptical, but I got off after 5 min. because it wasn't a very good one, and it didn't seem to work right.  So, I jumped on the treadmill for a little over 25 min., so I worked out for about 30 min, and I worked up a good sweat.

I haven't done all that great with my food the last couple days, not horrible, but not great either.  I just feel myself slipping, mentally, on the food front, but I haven't, totally, crashed and burned - I'm not eating any crap between meals or anything like that.  I'm just not choosing the foods I know I should be choosing for my main meals, and I have no excuse for it.  So, I'm not ending the month of March the way I had hoped - I'm struggling a bit, but I know I'll be okay.  There's going to be hard times for me, from time to time, on this journey, but I know there's no stopping allowed - I'm in this for the long haul, and I won't give up!!


  1. I went to the City Museum last week! Incredibly cool. I wish I had a kid with me so I could feel less silly going down the slides :) Glad you're having a good time!!!

  2. I commend you on working out at the hotel. I seriously don't know anyone who does that. Your dedication inspires me SOOOOOOOOO much. I love it! Proud of you for not being on who goes on vacation and just gives in to the whims of sleeping-in and being lazy. You are my hero of the day!!!!

    You're aware of the food situation, now...don't slip! No crashing and burning. Keep goin', gal. Remember, your stomach isn't on vacation...which means your fat cells aren't either.

    @Chubby - Thanks! Working out at the hotel gym was easy because I'm so there w/ my exercising - I won't allow myself to skip that, but now I just need to get that dedicated with my food, too!! Today, will be better for me. I had a good breakfast this morning, so I'm off to a good start!

  4. Doing great! We all slip once in a while, what's important is that you don't stay down too long! Good job on getting in exercise while on vacay! Awesome job!
