**Day 156**

As soon as I took off on my 1 mile run tonight I felt tired, sluggish, and drained!  My first thought was - I'm never going to make it a mile without stopping!  But I, immediately, switched off that bad thought, and told myself - yes, you CAN run this whole mile. Do it.  Keep going.  Finish it.  And I did!  It feels good to push myself through things.  That's a new thing for me.  I like it.  So, anyway, I got my run in today, and I did the 30 Day Shred.

I want to be out of the 220's by Friday, so I'm going to work my butt of this week!!

  1. Awesome job on the run! Progress like this is a great NSV - doing something you never thought you could do, even as you're doing it! That push is tough but when you finish, there's such a great feeling of accomplishment. I like to think about my old self and how she never could have possibly imagined this life would be happening - she could barely walk a mile, let alone run one!

  2. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When your mindset shifts and you start doing that "CAN" talk and you actually realize that you "CAN" because you PUSHED yourself...it makes things a lot easier. It's how I got through that Jillian Michaels thing yesterday. I said, "NO! Don't quit! You don't want to be fat anymore?! THEN GO! GO! GO!!!!!!!"

    And I did it.

    Isn't it beyond refreshing?

  3. Thanks, Mary and Chubbs! Yes, it feels so good to get through something that I'm convinced in the beginning I can't finish!

  4. You just keep knocking down all these obstacles that used to keep you from reaching your goals in the past. Your setting a good example for your girls. I'm proud of you. We got to get together so I can give you your prize. Love Dad
