**Day 503**

My dad and I were back at the gym this morning.  I took my usual picture, but I didn't realize how blurry it came out until I went to post it - dang!  Anyway, I did 30 minutes on the elliptical, and 15 minutes on the treadmill.  It was a good workout, but tonight I felt like doing more, so my girls and I took a walk together:
Two miles walked, and 251 calories burned on our walk!  I really do love exercising with my girls.  I want them to learn how important it is for them to take care of their bodies, and they really seem to enjoy doing it, so that makes me very happy! :)

Weigh-in day for me tomorrow!

  1. Good for you - promoting health for your girls! I think in today's society is is really important. There are so many junk food temptations for kids and they seem to lead much more sedentary lifestyles than we did as kids. It's great that they are motivated to walk with you and that you are teaching them some valuable lessons about taking care of yourself.
Keep up the great work! Hope you have a great weekend!

    1. Thanks, Rochelle! I spent so many years sitting on the sidelines, so it feels great to be up and moving and doing things with my girls!

  2. I love the feeling of wanting to do more. It's definitely something I never used to feel but I get it quite often now.

    1. I love it, too, Tim! I felt that way for the first half of last year - I always wanted to do more, but then I lost that feeling, so it's great to have it back!
