**Day 495**

My hubby and I took a 2 mile walk tonight:
Yes, I use my Garmin Forerunner for walking, so, I guess, it's my Garmin Forewalker!  Anyway, I'm such a slow walker, but here's the thing - I know I'm getting a good workout because I'm a sweaty mess after my walks.  I still weigh ALOT, so just walking at this slow pace is hard for me, but I know I'll get faster as I lose weight.

Can you guess which one is me?  Yup, I'm the bigger, rounder one!  Someday I'll have a normal size shadow....someday.

  1. I didn't even notice your size at all, so you shouldn't either! Your doing a wonderful job and exercise is still exercise :D Go you!

  2. I'm a slow walker too - I have short little legs so although I FEEL like I am trucking along, the reality is right now I do about 3 miles an hour and you know what? That works for me. It's hard to see on the picture but is the calorie burn reading on the lower left corner of your Garmin (it says 257)? Because if so, that is an excellent burn for 2 miles! Keep it up girl! You are doing great!!!

    1. Yes, Rochelle, I did burn 257 calories, so, I need to focus on that, and not my slow walking! Thanks!! :)

  3. If it makes you sweat then it's doing you good!

    I put most of my weight loss down to walking lots. It is great exercise!

    1. I'm sticking with walking for right now, Tim, and you're right - it IS great exercise. I do want to start running again, eventually, but, for now, I need to baby this bad foot of mine, so I will focus on doing lots of walking, and I know it will pay off! Thanks so much for always commenting, and supporting me!
